File: aaami_01.txtSUBJECT: INFORMATION FOR THE COMMANDER CENTAF/DE 19 Oct 90 MEMO FOR: CENTAF/CC SUBJECT: INFORMATION FOR THE COMMANDER Our firefighters at Tabuh responded appropriately to aircraft accident at approach end of runway. Barrier is out of service for repairs by British. We have stirred a hornets nest with a request for guidance on handling and return of biologically contaminated human remains. We have wished this problem away for years as too tough. It's been ????? to the Central Joint Mortuary Affairs Office at JCS. Until we get other direction our guidance to the field is to isolate the remains as much as possible and leave them alone - no need to ???? Prime Ribers on the dead. Respectfully, Rothenberg CENTAF/DE
