SUBJECT:  LG UPDATE

LG UPDATE							4 FEB 91
Personal Injury at KKMC:
-Technician was burned quite badly when "Perkins-Elmer"
 Oil Analysis Machine exploded.  (3rd Degree Burns 48% Lower Back
  --Individual receiving treatment @ Saudi Burn Center.  Will
   Med Evac
-Borrowed "Spectroil Jr." machine to continue ops at KKMC.
  --Will have to backfill from CONUS either new buy
   or levy active unit for replacement.

F-16 2400 phase Block 25 models.
-To accommodate in-theater performance of major phase
  we have ordered 3 BAI from attrition fillers
  --will do main strut time changes as well as phase.

Inter-Theater Airlift
-Excluding in-theater channel missions (Star and Camel)
  Army is using 50% of available airlift
  --This has left C-130's available for our use to handle
   Contingencies
--ALCC has responded quickly to every request making
   last minute changes and adding missions where needed.
-We see the situation to continue this way until we 
  get troops engaged.
  --Then we will have only 5 missions per day
  --Total lift will be committed to supporting Army
   resupply and medevac.
