Fully operational facility is expected 31 Jan. Furniture buy is underway. Communications update will be provided at CSRB this week (DE, SC, AO). (2) Aircraft Parking Pads: The East pad (HN contract) is three days behind. The West pad (Red Horse) was supposed to start laying concrete today, but was awaiting materials. A worse case/best case parking plan has been approved by TFW/CC (MAA, DE). (3) Flightline Fencing: Cost update will be provided at the Joint projects Meeting (DE). (4) Siren/Alarm System (AO). (a) HN agreement needed to reallocate a spare siren system to Site 2. US purchase of 2 additional systems will continue and will give them one to replace as a spare. In the meantime, will achieve a full siren system capability base wide. (b) Flags have been distributed to all units requiring them. LGT will make the vehicle mounts. Addltional vehicle flags are available through CSG/AO if needed. Also, HN work on the one facility flag near the fire station is underway and should be completed soon (AO, DE). (c) CSG/CC will release a policy letter announcing the new alarm notification system this week. The letter will also be released to the host. (5) HN should be included in our training sessions to begin 5 Jan. See discussion at paragraph 6. (CVI) (6) Munitions Clearance Vehicles (MCV) (AO). New estimated delivery date is 16 Dec at Jebel Ali. We expect delivery here O/A 22 Dec. (7) Camouflage, Concealment, Deception (CCD) Priorities (AO). We have 100 woodland nets and 1800 desert nets are enroute, but a delivery date is not available. (a) Camouflaging Base Headquarters (b) False Parking Pad with Silhouettes/Decoys. Includes using woodland nets to create additional silhouettes. Pilots report the effect is same as 2D silhouettes. (c) Hangar Tonedown: Paint will be used in lieu of nets Dlscussion with HN needed on labor and materials b. Non Warskills Program A detailed break out of requirements and available manpower will be available next meeting So far, there are more requirements than manpower voluntarily identified (CSG/CD). c. ATH Fencing A review of cost and prioritization of labor will be conducted next week. (DE, SGA) d. Multiman Intermediate Cooling System (MICS). AON conducted a demonstration.
