			(1) Read sign and follow attendant's directions.

			(2) Mark Decon

				(a) For processees using M17 series masks with
eveglass inserts, LHA attendant will strip mask. of all parts,
swish in bleach solution, place mask in vapor-proof bay and hand
it to the VHA side.

				(b) Process without eyeglasd inserys will be 
reissued a mas in the Toxic Free Area (TFA).

				(c) LHA Attendant will decon all remiaining masks
when time permits and hand them to the VHA side for reissue in
the TFA.

2. Vapor Hazard Area (VHA) ~

	a. Clothing Removal, Glove insert removal

		(1) Read sign and fallow directions :

		(2) Tie boot laces together before placing in container.

		(3) Equipment/Materials Needed:

			(a) Waste containers

			(b) Plastic trash bags (liners)

			(c) M258 Decon kits

	b. Weapon Pick-up:(if decon line is used)

		(l) Personnel entering CCA with a weapon can pick up a
deconned weaoon.

		(2) Service weapon in TFA.

	c. CCA Exit: Attendant will check all processes with the 
Chemical Agent Monitor System (CAMS) to ensure they are free from
contanination. Vapor-proof mask: bags will be checked also.

		(1) Contaminated Personnel (positive reading on CAMS):

			(a.) If the contaminated area is isolated, they
will be directed to remove that article of clothing and recheck
area with CAMS. If still contaminated~ use M-258 kit on area 
recheck with CAMS.

			(b.) If contamination is widespread, have them go
to the shower area, remove clothes and scrub down with soap and
water.
