As of 0800 on Jan 25, 648 cases of gastroenteritis were reported by the hospital supporting the 1701 PAREFW. There were only 16 new patients in the past 4 hours. The total count increased more than 16 because a review of records revealed additional cases. Fifty-four patients were admitted (plus 1 for the day). Only 3 remain in the hospital. The number of DNIFs increased from 7 to 8. This increase is also the result of the records review. The eighth DNIF occurred on 23 Jan 91. 2. Preliminary stool culture results were negative.
