Report 1 provides information relating to the impact of weather and weather support on operations during Operations DESERT SHIELD and DESERT STORM. 2. Tbe report focus is on the Operation DESERT STORM war period of 15 Jan to 28 Feb 91, altbough some contributions of weather support during Operation DESERT SHIELD are also discussed. 3. This report is specifically concerned with tactics (weather support threshold forecast values), climatology, weather support force weather verification statistics, and objective measurements of weather support.
