       LOGISTICS ISSUE NO. 35 AE Support Equipment
       (SGHR ITEM NO. 229)

       DISCUSSION: Numerous problems providing patient support equipment to AE
       patients from limited ATH equipment. Items required to move with patients were
       in short supply because the ATH TA does not provide enough. The current system
       has procedures for return of equipment but as executed in ODS return times did
       not work.

       RECOMMENDATION: Current planning for patient support equipment for AE needs
       to be reviewed and updated.

       ACTIONS REQUIRED: The Joint Casualty Evacuation Working Group is looking into
       this matter. Must be a joint policy.

       ACTIONS COMPLETED: N/A.

       STATUS: Recommend closure.
