         1. The 593rd ASG reported that ci7ilian company has been dumping raw sewage on t!IE@
         tide flat ad.iacent to the Dhahran E,:@:,@, Center. The company name and pbonf,, number
         tia-. acquired from one of the !.rkickF., and a call made to the company manager. The
         manaeer stated that dumpinr. was unauthorized in that area and he would insurp. no
         further dumping occurred. 593rd ijzt-, instructed to pass the vehicle plate #, to this
         ctfiice of any trucks entering the area,, which will tip forwarded to the company
         management for further action.

             A recluest was receivr-(l from the Corps surgeons office asking for data on the
         allow,ilile (safe) levels of chemicals and trace elements containetl in Saudi water.
         Information outlining the maximum allowable levels was obtained from the f7au(Ii
         Kiiii@4rv of Health and forwarded to CorDd. Additionally, the military lio@@pital
         located.in Dhabrin has agreed to test 1120 samples if required.

         3. Japanese Vehicles - The Minisi@pi, of Interior has forwarded a lett(:.r to the
         Traffic Police granting a waiver on vehicle registration feels. Apparently the
         traffic police have not eF:I.ablished a procedure to process the vehicles without
         Payment. l,'OL rhalaf informed MG Saleli of this fact and requested assistance for
         ouick resolution. The action 13 firmly in the traffic police office, for execution,
         antl will be monitored throughout the day/days until licensing begins.
