                   (3) Traffic Accident. On 18 Oct 90, a PVT from B Company, Zd
           Engineer Battalion, while operating a 5 ton truck traveling south on MSR
           Mercedes was stt-uck by a Saudi national whofati@mpted to pass whill; the,
          struck was turning left off of the MSR' The@-e was property damage to 6bth
           vehi@les but there were no injuries. US Military Police.conducted the
           investigation and determined that thetsaudi was at faultl(MPR# 6124Q).

                   (4) Traffic Accident. On IS Oct 90, Dhahran Police reported that
           an unknown driver from A Company, 724th Support Battalion had left a 5 ton
           truck parked and unattended in the roadway on King Fahd street, under the
           Al-Dhahran overpass. The 5 ton truck was subsequently struck in the rear
           by a Saudi national driving a Nissan sedan. Following the accident, the 5
           ton was towed to a nearby parking lot. Extent of damage to the vehicles is
           unknown and there were no reported injuries. US Military Police and Saudi
           Police continue to investigate the accident.

               c. (101st Airborne Division Air Assault):     u@ni-hc)  oun I On 17 Oct
           90, a 2LT from 3/327 Inf was in a shower area wKL-rf-@ accid"en-tly shot
           himself with a pistol. The 2LT sustained a grazing wound to his right
           hand. Initial information indicated the 2LT was attempting to clear the
           weapon when the accident occurred. The 2LT was treated and released for
           the wound. The investigation is continuing by the Military Police.

               d. (Ist Cavalry Division):

                   (1) Traffic Accident. On 14 Oct 90., a PFC from B Battery. 4/5 ADA
           Battalion, while operating a HMMWV and'ait-empting to make a left turn offi
 to pass on the
          teft,. There was property damage to both vehicles. Also, the operator and
           passenger were taken to a Saudi hospital for treatment, extent of injuries
           unknown. The investigation was conducted by both US Military Police and
           Saudi Police. 'ThO Saudi was at fault for improper pasting"

                   (2) Traffic Accident. On 15 Oct 90, a SGT from HHC, Ist Cav Div
           while operating a civilian vehicle was traveling east on King Faisal Street
           when he 'madii i left turn onlea Sth Street and was struck by a Saiidi national
            akin@ 'a' turn onto the same street.. There was damage to both vehicles, bui
         ,there were no reported injuries.    @udi Police conducted the investigation
           and the Saudi national was found to be at fault.


                   (3) Traffic Accident. On 15 Sep 90, a SST from HHC, 332d Armor
           Battalion while operating a 40 passenger bus an King Abdul Aziz Seaport
           Road ran a stop signal and struck a HM@WV operated by a SPC from the Ilth
           ADA Bde. A 2LT was thrown from the HMMWV and received a fractured lower
           left leg. There was extensive damage to the HMMWV. US Military Police
           responded to the accident and determined that the SGT was at fault (MPR#
           6248).
