      1. MAJOR SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES SUMMARY (LAST 24 HOURS).
          a. Mission: Provide Personnel Service Support o
      divisional and non-divisional units, with emphasis on critical
      wartime tasks specifically, strength accounting, reporting and
      management, casualty management, Personnel data base and
      information management, Postal operations and Replacement
      operations. Provide technical @istan@tc) the staff on all
      matters under the pur-view of the Adjutan!7'-Seneral.

          b. Activities: The Group S3 is reworking movement plans in
      cqgrdinatin with the GI and MCC. We havei a limited number of vehicles to
      move our equipment and personnel, and had'planned to infiltrate to LBC.
      With restrictions on this movement method we are renewing plans to
      integrate our.vehicles into convoys.

          The Battalion Task Force 18 continues @o improve their position at FOB
      Strike Hard. Fighting positions have been developed and life support
      systems are in place. The battalion is preparing to execute its -Forward
      support mission at the FOB.

          The Group S4 procured additional screening systems at the BSU. We
      have not been able to procure screen support systems as they are not
      available in the local supply system.
