          Continue to monitor progress of the move to Khobar Towers.

          Continued developing plans for operations, communications and movement
      throughout the entire rear and forward area.

          Coordinating for the movement of replacements to KKMC.
      5@__ggMMANDER'S COMMENTS:
          We are coordinating all aspects of replacement operations to ensure
      that operations will be conducted smoothly. We are working every
      alternative transportation method available for the movement of
      replacements. We have requested that the Corps release point be changed
      to KKMC but SUPCOM states they can not support our request. The bigger
      problem is the lack a+ transportation which we understand is SUPCOM's
      transportation problem. It is still a SUPCOM mission to take mail &
      replacements to the Corps release point. The Corps cannot be blamed for a
      release point further north than SUPCOM would like to support.

          Transshippment of mail is becoming a major issue. We have nearly 200
      tri-wall containers of mail awaiting movement forward. The battalion has
      been working the issue daily for a week with no results. The Group S3 is
      now involved and is working with the 330th MCC to resolve scheduling and
      utilization conflicts. The COSCOM is just not prepared to support this
      mission at this time. Mail is almost broken. Morale will be affected if
      transportation assets cannot be found soon.
