       12. (U) SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS.

       military medical facilities as available.

       bed requirements without prior coordination with Corps Surgeon.

       13. (U) COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS.  Consistent with the planning guidance
       provlded above, and as applicable, commanders will include in their supporting
       lans details of medical planning to include:

         a. (U) The medical treatment system for  operations in an NBC
       environment, to include NBC defense and medical decontamination and treatment
       procedures. Patient decontamination is the responsibility of the patient's
       unlt and must be accomplished before evacuation so as not to contaminate
    --medical facilities.

         b. (U) Special veterinary precaution-- concerning animal carried
       diseases, indigenous food, speclal local procurement instructions and animal
       care aspects.

         c. (U) Identification of significant environmental factors, special
ter discipline and available
       preventive medicine support units.

         d. (U) CommunLcatLons channels and frequencies to be utllized by medical
       personnel and pertinent procedures.

         e. (U) Reporting requirements to meet applicable suspense tlees.
