            SUBJECTs Old PS(Pyridastigmine Bromide) Changeout

            PURPOSEM To inform Commanders how to change old PB packages for now
            ones*


            1.   IOL*T Airborne Division(RASLT) was issued two pkgls PB tablets at
            time of deployment late August/early September i99O. The life of PS out
            of refrigeration is 6 months.

            2.   One of the two originally issued pkgs was consumed Jan i7-249 end
            was replaced with a new pkg. The other originally issued pkg needs to
            be replaced now.

            3.   Per XVIII ABN CORPS, units are to exchange old packages for now
            issue. Old pkgo are to be turned into DMSO where now pkgs will be
            issued. Soldiers who have replaced damaged PB in the last three months
            should not draw new packages.

            4.   DMSD will maintain expired PS packages pending further XVIII ABN
            CORPS instructions.

            S.   Soldiers should write date down an new PS packages for future
            references. The newly issued PB pkgs come without a protective
            cardboard sleeve. In order to protect the new pkgsg individuals should
            retain their old cardboard sleeves.
