           SUBJECT: Nerve        Agent Antidote      Kit NSH     6505-01-140-6455 and
           Antidote Treatment Nerve Agent            NSN 6505-01@174-9919


           1. Attached message, received             from 7th Medical       Command,      is
           forwarded for your immediate action. It list6 current shelf life
           extensions for subject MARK I Kits.
           2. Request all VI! Corps units .(deploying or remaining)
           inventory on hand quantities and report results NLT 16 NOV 90.
           .3. Units deploying to Desert Shield will:provide the                     following
           information:

                a. Total authorized number,of MARK I Kits                  (based    on 3 kits
           per soldier).

                b. Total      number of serviceable MARK           I Kits    (after   lot number
           inventory based on new extension dates).

                c. Number       of MARK   I Kits expired as       of 30 NOV 90       (this is
           the  total number of additional kits required).

           4.   VII Corps units not        deplo
                                                         to Desert Shield       will provide
           the  following     information:

                a. Total      number of    serviceable MARK       I  Kits (after lot number
           inventory based on new extension dates).
           5. This information will be provided by                secure voice, (ETS)
16 to the VII Corps surgeon,, ATTN:               14AJ Orwig or SFC
           Servick NLT 16 NOV 90.

           6. NO 14ARK I Kits, repeat, HQ MARK I Kits                will be destroyed.
           Efforts will be made to cross level expired stocks, hoi#everl
           units should expd6t,to deploy with on hand stocks regardless                      of
           expiration date.
