             SUBJECTI Old PB(Pyridustigmint Bromide) Changeout

             PURPOSEs To inform Commanders how to change old PB packages for now
             ones.


             1.   101*t Airborne Division(APSLT) was issued two pkglo PB tablets at
             time of deployment late August/early September 1990. The life of PB out
             of refrigeration is 6 months.

             2.   One of the two originally issued pkgs was consumed Jan 17-249 and
             was replaced with a now pkg. The other originally issued pkg needs to
             be replaced now.

             3.   Per XVIII ABN CORPS, units sr* to exchange old packages for   now
             Issue. Old pkgs are to be turned into DMSD where now pkgt will be
             issued. Soldiers who have replaced damaged PS in the last throw months
             should not draw now packages.
             4.   DMSO wil'1 maintain expired PB packages pending further XVIII ABN
             CORPS instructions.

             5.   Soldiers should write date down on now PS packages for future
             references. The newly issued PB pkgs come without a protective
             cardboard sleeve. In order to protect the new pkgs, individual% should
             retain their old cardboard sleeves.
