        APPENDIX  8 (MEDICAL SERVICES) TO ANNEX      N (PERSONNEL SERVICE SUPPORT) IAD
        OPLAN 1991-2 (Operation Iron     Victory -   IAD Redeployment)


                  (1). Doctrinal class VIII resupply will be employed during
        redeployment at RAA Kasserine, e.g. BASs will be supplied from FSB MED
        Cos.


                  (2). Specified class VIII (TBD) will be returned to the DMSO at
        RAA Kasserino.


        5. COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONST

             a. Medical screening ARNG and USAR soldiers to determine fitness will
        be accomplished at the level I facility(BAS) available. The record of
        this examination shall be retained by the unit commander until return to
        demobilization stations then placed in the individual's medical record.
        Xrays and lab work will be accomplished only if mandated by the clinical
        examination. Priority of screening: ARNG, USAR, AC (if required per AR
        40-501).

             b. Dental records of ARNOand USAR soldiers will be screened to verify
        that all dental care provided while an active duty is recorded in the
        dental record.

             C. Professional Officer Fillers (PROFIS) assigned to units will
        redeploy to CONUS with those units Initially assigned unless specifically
        directed to redeploy at a different date by the USARCENT Surgeon.

             d. Preventive Medicine-.

                  (1). ComiAanders must ensure that basic sanitary measures are
        enforced in order to minimize disease and non-battle injuries.

                  (2). Division PM section will conduct unannounced assistance
        visits and outbrief the commander or his/her representative on their
        findings.

             e. Medical companies will send medical status and medical capabilites
        report daily to the DMOC NLT 1200 (L). Report times are from 0900 to
        0900.

        6. COMMAND AND SIGNALs


. AM radio checks 1500 daily with the DMOC.

             b. Medical companies will initiate FM radio checks on the med ops
        net, 0315 and 1400 daily.
