SUIJECT: Serviceability of Pyridastigmine Bromide (PB) Packets

1. As a reminder, all soldiers should have in their possession
two (2) packets of Pyridostigmine Bromide (PB) tablets. The
packets should be stored in the protective mask carrier.
2. In conjunction with routine inspections of the protective mask
and carrier, units should also inspect the serviceability of the
PB packets. The total number of packets with torn aluminum
backing or crushed tablets should be reported to Division Medical
Supply Office CDMSO) as soon as possible. Do not destroy the
unserviceable packets. Unserviceable packets will not be turned
in or replaced until further guidance is published.
