       1. PURPOSE. To provide staff input for CODEL Executive Sessions.

       2. BACKGROUND. During the period of 19 - 22 Apr.91, CODELs Montgomery and
       Exon are scheduled -uo visit HQ USCENTCOM and U.S. forces in Saudi- Arabia,
       Kuwait, and Bahrain. on Friday, 19 Apr 91, GEN Schwarzkopf will conduct
       Executive Sessions with the CODELs - CODEL Montgomery at 0900 and CODEL
       Exon at 1830 (T). Both sessions will be conducted in the Chief of Sta@--fls
       Conference Room.


       3. ACTIONS REOUESTED.


         a. CCJI.

               (1) Provide updated paper   copies and transparencies of slides at
       enclosure 1 to this office NLT COB, 17 Apr 91. CINC will review -these for
       possible use during the sessions.

               (2) Provide updated paper copies and transparencies of slides at
       enclosure 1 to this office NLT 0730, 19 Apr 91.

          b. CCJ2


               (1) Provide updated BDA Chart (paper copy and @@ransnarencv@ -_or
       IOQe-ra@@i-on DES---RT SPOR2,1 --o this office 4LT COB, 17 Apr 91.

          (2) Coordinate with j3 to update enclosure 2.
