                AMX x (CROSSING PIAN), TO 1 ID(M) OPORD SCORPION DANGER (U)


                Corps crossing schedule. Two Crossing Area Co@d (CAC)
                Headquarters will be established on the far-side of the enemy
                barrier to control crossing unit's movement from the
                beginning of the barrier lanes at PL WISCONSIN to PL NEW
                JERSEY. Traffic Control Points (TCPS) and guides will assist
                crossing units moving through zone. CFC will control use,,
                maintenance, and improvement of barrier lanes with engineer
                units.

                        (2)       Fires. CFC is supported by 1 ID(M) DIVARTY
                for fire support within CrOBSing zone. Priority to crossing
                unit in barrier lanes, then units in staging areas.

                        (3)       Counterair Opefations. CFC is supported by
                friendly offensive and defensive counterair and 1 ID(M) air
                defense assets. Priority is to crossing unit in barrier
                lanes, then units in staging areas. crossing units conduct
                unit air defense battle drill within lanes while continuing
                forward movement through lanes. The CFC will position one
                stinger section within each brigade near-side SA and one
                stinger team at each passage point/gap on the breach-head
                line.

                        (4) (S) Engineer. lst and 2d Bdes establish 10
                passing lanes through barrier, eight forward lanes of which
                two will be upgraded into roads to allow sustained heavy
                wheeled vehicle traffic (STOOO gal tankers, 40 foot tractor-
                trailers) and two lanes for traffic to the rear. 176
                Engineer Group, initially Crossing,Force Engineer (CFE),, will
                upgrade assault lanes (vehicle width) into lanes (15m wide)r
               and then into gaps (200-300m wide). Priorities:
                survivability (dig in CFC HOs prior to E+5:50),- mobility,,
                upgrade at least 2 of the 8 assault lanes I established by 1
                ID(M)L into roads (the first one NLT H+8*30 and the second
                NLT H+10) and establish 3 gaps NLT H+7:50. one road per
                crossing area must be operable at all times. Clear one 4km
                gap per crossing area NLT H+48.

                        (5) (U)   Military Police.

                             (a)       On order, 1165 MP Co provide
                Battlefield Circulation Control (BCC) in GS
                support crossing units' movement from.PL =X
                beginning of the barrier lane on PL WISCONSIN.

                             (b)       On order,, 972d MP Co(-) provides BCC
                in DS to the Ist Bde CAC to support crossing units' movement
                in zone from the far-side of the barrier lane to PL NEW
                JERSEY.
