         HEADQUARTERS

         5. (U) OBSERVATION: The HHB of the artillery brigade
         headquarters was authorized a surgeon and one 2 1/2 ton truck to
         service over 300 soldiers.

         6. (U) DISCUSSION: By the start of the ground war, the
         artillery brigade's headquarters had grown to over 300 soldiers
         due to attachments (chemical platoon, ADA assets, target
         acquisition, DS maintenance team, CD team, etc.)-

         7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: An aid station with six medics was
         actually necessary with a tracked vehicle and one HMKWV
         ambulance.
