Digital Topographic S and g, including
ERDAS (Earth Resources Data Analysis System); three ERDAS systems
were acquired and rushed to CENTCOM topo units in SWA. ETL pe@. nnnel set
up, ran and trained topo personnel for these systems giving the field tiae capability

TerraBase; ETL expedited the updating of the terrain analysis software,
adding special t-lirnqtology of the Kuwait AOR enabling analysts to exploit

display, and plot topographic tactical decision aids such as key terrain, air

in support of the Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (I:PB) process. (ETL)
FAISS (FORSCOM Automated Intelligence Support Systems); 10 units were

              construction, and field fortifications. (V*rES)

OrmatiOn Of Digital Topographic Data a=): The DTD was reformatted
