Developed and delivered within four months Combat Vehicle Full Width
@ Rakes, augmenting the e@sting blade on the front of the CEV, clearing 125%
of frontal width of Ml tank; 43 delivered. Concept-to-fielding was accomplished
in 90 days. CENTCOM responded so favorably to this product that they sent a
Marine colonel to personally oversee the transport of the remaining stock from
Dover Air Force Base by C5. (LABCOM(BRDEC))
Rapidly accelerated the development of the fusing and the software for the Patriot
system to give Patriot PAC-2 capabilities (exploding warhead); also accelerated
fielding of Patriot Operator Tactics @ainer Software. (LABCOM(HDL) / BUCOM)
Technical Assessment for a host of subjects ranging from Lithium battery
performance, to atmospheric effects on chemical hazards and smart munitions,
to material wear and corrosion, to revised firing tables, to night vision devices, to
secure communications, to electronic countermeasures, to include an artificial
intelligence test bed for tactical imagery processing. The whole of the AMC tech
base was made available and was used by ODS forces.
Accelerated development and fielding of eleven (11) prototype Biological Agent
Collection and Detection Systems. System has been used for sampling in SWA.

Developed IR Terrain Avoidance Aiming rights for UH-60's and OH-58s. Concept,
flight testing, and manufacture occurred in less than six weeks. 200 units

Technical assistance and support was provided by the Medical Research and
Development Command for ifiese areas. These Products were Arm Chemical Corps
developed and Michigan Department of Public Realth Produced. C support the
effort to accelerate their production and fielding. (MRDC)
CAMA (Convulsive Antidote fornerve Agents), automatic drug injectors prefilled
with an anticonvulsant antidote, used at the first sign of convulsions. Reduces
the incident and severity of convulsions and associated brain damage and will
allow for earlier functional recovery. (MRDC)
