           Guar'ds, the entire Scout Platoon had uploaded with 900rds of sabot and
           300rds of HE. They additionally crossloaded their ammunition (HE in the
           sabot chute, sabot in the HE), in order to have more tank and BMP killing
           rounds -in their ready chute/box. The scouts had pro-indexed sabot to fire
           on initial contact. Seeing the ineffectiveness of sabot on the truck, SFC
           Zeitlemoyer, the Platoon Sergeant, orders his gunner to index HE and fire.
           SGT Cortez, the gunner, fires I round, adjusts, and fires a 3 to 5 round
           burst into the truck, hitting th@ cab and causing the dismounts to "haul

           ass."
              SSG Clendenen on the left flank engages the truck with I round HE, an
           as he tries to fire a burst, jamms his gun. This may have been caused b
           feeding problems due to crossloading ammunition. Having given his positio
