B Company attacks east past PL Tangerine in a staggered column as left

        +lank security to TF 4-aCAV in a Movement to Contact. B Company's

staggered column order is 2nd Platoon,H066, lst, 3rd, and HQ65. Alk. are

After hearing reports from the scouts, 2LT Carroll of 2nd Platoon

(Br2l) identifies the same targets- a BRDM and a ZSU 23-4, as hot spots

through his thermals at about 3000m. B Company stops to overmatch as C

Company moves Ist Platoon up to engage the enemy. 2LT Carroll can see the

BRDM and the ZSU 23-4 on fire from C Company's tank rounds through his

thermals. As the task force begins movement again, 2LT Carroll finds

himself tying in with 2nd platoon of C Company instead of the Ist Platoon,

which is still ahead of the task force. After advancing 500m the task

force starts to receive indirect air bursts along the entire front. B

Company goes to open protected. The lst Platoon of C Company withdraws
        from :L@.s -Forward position through r, Comp@ny, @lang with C Company's
