On the third and final bound at about 0200, C Company tanks engage the
heads of Iraqi dismounts as they look out from their fighting posit4ons.
Six tanks from TF 3-SCAV drive across the company's front headine nortt-
but are not engaged by either side. Another refuel is conducted at 0430.
At sunup C Company again receives air burst mortars/artillery from tne
enemy, as they fire on C Company and the surrendering Iraqis. No effective
*ire is recoived and the prisoners are na+ely captured in 9 Company's
area.
