           With contact ended, CPT Peterson pops his hatch and looks around his

       tank to find 2 Iraqi soldiers huddled in a fighting position 50m from his

       tank.  They still have hand grenades and rifles but show no hostility. SPC

       Sartin and PFC Doest from B66, along With SPC Smith and PV2 Plandel from

       B65, ;lush out the Iraqis and take them prisoner using M16s.

           At 0700 a Psyops-Team arrives at B Company's position,     sets up their

       speaker system,' and   encourage the Iraqis to surrender. At,       2 to 5km

       soldiers appear to B Company's front. As they approach 12 more Iraqis join

       them. From C Company's area 400m to the front 4 Iraqis move toward the

       Psyops spc?akers. 2000m from C Company 12 soldiers, I wounded, walk toward

       B Company. The one wounded EPW is evacuated in a medic M113 with an

       injured right leg. Many EPWs are saying,"Saddam lies! Saddain lies!" B

       Company sends a dismounted patrol forward at about 1000 and brings back to

       the TF S-2 an enemy SOI and a communications diagram from one of the

       fighting-positions.
