          At 1900, tha TP 4NOcutivo Q+;icar, MAJ Irish, drives up to D66 anr-
       tells CPT Przybyzewski to secure tHe combat trains. @Ird Platoon deploys
       its four bradleys to the four corners of the combat trains formation.
           At 1930 the gunner on D21, SST Hartman, sees 4 to 5 hotspots that turn
       out to be dismounts at 1500 to 200      Om. D21 and D23 move out of the
       formation to the left flank to intercept the dismounts. As they approach
       the dismounts are lost as they dive to the ground. The Bradleys continue
       to search until they hit the task force border with 4/18IN They see only a
       friendly M113, turn around and return to the formation.
           D Moch stays in position throughout the night. Near daybreak at 0500,
       more? dismounts are identified between D Mech and the combat trains. SFC
       Johnson, BC of D14, locates them on the left front of the combat trains
       but as he closes to intercept, the dismounts again disappear.
           At approximately 0730 3rd Platoon moves forward to assist in the
       taking of EPWS. 3rd Platoon advances in a staggered column, coming on line
       to the fear of B Company. MAJ Irish, the TF XO, takes a squad from D32 anc
       and D31 to search 17 EPWS. D33 and D34 are sent back to the TOC to escort
       previously captured Iraqis back to the combat trains area. During the
       securing of prisoners at B Company, CPL Lewis finds an EPW with a 9mm in

       one boot, and a knife in the other.
