          departure at 1444hrs. At 1605 hrs the Battalion transitioned

          OP/LPs positioned 500-800 meters from the Battalion perimeter.
          Ifo,unusual activity occurred during the night.
               The Battalion moved 75 kilometers for the day. No enemy
          contact occurred on G-Day,.


          IV,.. PHASE Ir - PL Melon to PL Saigon (25 Fbbruary 1991).
          Phase II began with the Battalion onnducting stand-to at 0430L
          and was completed at-0500L. The Battalion was prepared to move
          at 0605hrs and oommefieed movement at 0635hrs as part of the
          Brigade Wedge. 4-8. CAV. (a'tank Battalion) was to the Battalion's
