At 0620 we were notified that Forward Area Refueling Point (FARP)
Acura was open. We were the lead company in rotation at that time.
We received the mission to bounce the guns to Acura and send the
Scouts an a screen. The scouts were to screen the division right
,f,.L@tnk, vicinity Phase Line (PL) 'IRLtst" and PL "Bud" and link up with
4/7 Cavalry Squadron. And, if possiblo,"Iink up with the 2nd Armored
Cavalry Regiment (ACR) trail elements a@ well. We were to keep the
,.ertors observed if there were any gaps. The conduct of that mission

During this time, we continued to move north along Axis Liberty. The
Battalion rotation, Alpha, Brava, and Charlie of 2/227th and Alpha
