          APPENDIX 3 (MEDICAL SUPPORT) TO ANNEX S (P),@RSONNEL ADMINISTRATION)
          TO VII CORPS OPORD --.991-2 (IIOMF.WARD WARRIOR) (S)

          Operating Procedures, 12 Feb 88, remains in affect.

               b.  (U) Evacuation policy:

                   (I.) (U) Division Level - 3 Days

                   (2) (U) Corps Level - 7 Days

               C.   (U)   Non-divisional units having organic assets will
          provide area medical support, within their capabilities, to
          adjacent units which have no support.

               d.  (U)   E.AC hospitals will receive soldiers evacuated fror.,.
          corps hospitals. Once corps hospitals are closed, ]eAC hospitals
          will provide hospitalization.     Soldiers evacuated from theater
          during redeployment will not be returned to theater.

                e. (U) Medical screening of soldiers to determine fitness
          will. be accomplished at the level one facility available.        The
          record of this examination shall be retained by the unit commander
          until return to demobilization station, then placed in the
          individual.'s medical record.      X-rays and lab work will. be
          accomplished only if mandated by the clinical examination. Priority
          of screening: ARNG, USAR, AC (if required).

                f.  (U)   Dental. records of ARNG and USAR soldiers will be
          screened to verify that all dental care provided while on active
          duty is recorded in the dental record.

                g. (U) Specified Class VIII Chemical Defense Material (CDM)
          will be returned to the unit's supporting MEDSOM for suspension and
          segregation.

                h.  (U)   Professional officer Fillers (PROFIS) assigned to
          units will redeploy to CONUS with those units initially assigned
rent date by the
          USARCENT Surgeon.

                i. (U) Active Component (AC) hospital and USAREUR depl.oyed
          hospital units will redeploy with all equip,-lent and supplies minus
          Schedule R+Q medications, medical gases, and special handling
          items.

                j. (U) Reserve Component (RC) hospital units who fell-in on
          POMCUS/PRIMOB hospital sets will redepl.oy only with equipment
