          APPF.NDIX 3 (MEDICAL SUPPORT) TO ANNEX S (PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION)
          TO VII  CORPS OPORD 1991-2 (HOMEWARD WARRIOR)   (S)

          1. (U) SITUATION. Basic OPORD.

          2. (U)  MISSION. Provide health service support to VII Corps units
          during redeployment operations.

          3. @ CONCEPT. During redeployment, IAD, 11D          2ACR, 2AD (F) ,
          and 3AD will provide division-level medical support. 2d COSCOM will
          provide corps-level medical support in sector and medical support
          on an area basis to all corps-level units until relieved by EAC.

          4. (U) RESPONSIBILITIES.

               a. (U) IAD, IID (-), 2ACR, 2AD(F), and 3AD will:

                   (1)   (U)   Provide division-level medical support with
          organic assets.

                   (2)  (U)   Provide unit/di.vision-lovel medical support to
          corps units operating in division sectors.

                b.  (U)  2d COSCOM will. execute corps-level Health Services
          Support to include:

                   (1)  (U)   Consolidate all medical reports and submit to
          corps GI for review by the Corps Surgeon.

                   (2) (U) Manage Class VIII supply operations for the corps
          to include medical supply, optical and maintenance support.

             C. (U) Corps Surgeon will:

                 (1)   (U) Initially collocate with the 332d Medical Brigade
          and interface with the corps staff through the corps GI. On order,
          reconstitute the Corps Surgeon section and relocate with the VII
          Corps Headquarters.

                 (2)  (U)   Advise the command on corps health matters and
          exercise staff supervision over corps health services.

                 (3) (U) Coordinate all iction through the GI less technical
          medical which may be coordinated through technical channels.

          5. (U) COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS.
