         FRAGO 1-91-120 to 7th Engineer Brigade OPORD 1-91


                       (I) Be prepared to construct TPTs and FARPs in It
         Combat Aviation Brigade sector.

                       (j) Be prepared to interdict IvISRs in raq upon
         Corps withdrawal. Detailed information to -Follow.

                       (k) Remark MSRs BLUE and BURGUNDY as required.

                 (2) 527th Engr Bn:

                       (a) Recon the Saudi-Iraqi border berm, Locate and
         report all breaches of this berm to include dimensions of each
         br"ch. Estimate the effort required to restore the border berm
         to,its original condition.

                       (b) Recommend which crossing lanes in the breach
         area would best support the redeployment of the Corps. Assume
         tnat each MSR (BLUE and GREEN) will carry wneeled traffic where
         it passes through the breach area. Recommend a total of +our
         tracked vehicle lanes to supplement.

                       (c) Re-mark MSRs in sector as required.

             b. Coordinating instructions:

                 (1) Requests +or recons into XVIII Airborne Corps sector
         must be forwarded through 7th Engr Bde TOC for VII Corps
         approval.

                 (2) Provide 7th Engr Bde TOC a hard copy a+ all route
         rl,cons, utilizing report +ormat found in FM 5-34.

                 (3) Provide overlay of routes througn the breach and
         border berm to 7th Engr Bde TOC.
                 (4) Requisition MSR mar@ing materials (U-shape pickets,
         plywood and paint) through normal supply ch;annels.

                 (5) Exercise extreme caution wnile traveling on NSRs and
         while uploa(iing/o++Ioading engineer equipment. Ensure that all
         operators are adequately protected +ram injury and that all
         personnel remain alert to LinL=:@plodL-d ordnance.

         4. SERVICE SUPPORT:
