PART I
LAST 24 HOURS; 926th EN GP is planning and coordinating MSR clearing,
upgrade and demolition of enemy equipment and ordnance in assigned
area of operations (see frago 2-91-02). Completed road
grading to Ist, 2nd and 3rd BDES. Completed carpentry work
for 3AD Rear. Currently have TASS line communications with BDE; and
RATT communications with 19th and 92d. Upgraded 4 miles of MSR to
DISCOM with aces and grades. Destroyed four trucks near the Igth
perimeter by burning.
MSR status: IPSA Road for the 30 00.00 lat line to IUK rear boundary
is operational, 2 lane, asphalt. MSR Jaguar QT 220975 to QT315870 is
operational, single lane marl surface. Recon of other MSRs will
continue today. Reports will be submitted as recons are complete.
NEXT 24 HOURS: Igth EN BN will begin demolition of IZ equipment in
A/0 of EWL Montgomery (see 926th FRAGO 2-91-02). The 92d will begin
MSR upgrading of an unidentified road that runs along the E-W grid
line 3 in PU. Road starts at IPSA road and goes to approximately the
46 30.00 lon line. The 92d will also begin recon of possible hard
surface MSR out of 3AD section to the Basrah/Kuwait highway.
Scheduled to coordinate with USAF to provide fire and rescue support
to the C-130 operation along the Basrah-Xuwait highway between the
QU585040 and QT 9 grid line. Will evaluate the well completion kit
received against well site problems reconned yesterday.
PROBLEM AREAS: The Group is still in need of haul and
transportation assets. Well completion kit is also needed for Class I
water production in 3AD sector ASAP.
PART 11: The rating of the Group overall is GREEN.
