       SUBJ-ECT: TURN IN OF CLASS VIII (NBC MEDICAL)

       1. The following are the procedures for turn in of class VIII
       NBC items:
             a. Convulsant,Antido@ue, Nerve Agent (CANA). Collect all
       CANA, inventory and turn,in to 20th En Bde. A letter from the
       commander should explain any shortages. 20th En Bde will then
       turn in CANA to 32d MED80M.

             b. Nerve Agent Antidote Kit (NAAK), Mark I.

                   (1) Rc@serve units will turn in all NAAKs to 32d MEDSOM
       at King Khal@-d Military City (KKMC).

                   (2) Active duty units will collect NAAKs and retain at
       unit for contingency.

                   (3) Expired kits will be inventoried and turned in to
       32d MEDSOM by the unit.

                 pyridostigmine Bromide (PB).

                   (1) The first issue of PB received in before December
       and all open packs will be crushed or burned. A letter from the
       commander will state the number destroyed.

                   (2) The second issue of PB received in February or
       later will be turned in to 20th En Bde. 20th En Bde will turn in
       PB to 32d MEDSOIM.

             d. Cipro Pills (Anthrax medication).

                   (1) All --ipro will be collected from reserve units and
       returned to 20th En Bde.

                  .(2) Active duty units with aid stations may retain
       their C@-pro pills as an antibiotic at the discretion of the
       senior medical personnel.

                   (3) Units without aid stations will turn in their
       Cip--o pills to 20th En Bde.

       2. The suspense for completion of turn in of Class VIII is
       15 Mar 91. Units will notify this headquarter upon completion of
       these actions.
