          SUBJECT: VII CORPS DENIAL/DESTRUCTION MISSION




          1. vii Corps continues maximum effort in destruction of enemy


          equipment, vehicles, and munitions. To date, over 1765 combat

          vehicle systems, 1446 tactical vehicles, 362 ammo dumps and 395

          large bunkers have been destroyed.




          2. Recent adjustments   in unit sectors have discovered
          significantly large ammo storage areas i.e., tons of munitions,

          missiles, scuds, possible chemical weapons, etc. Have exceeded


          engineer and EOD capabilities.   Munitions are of sufficient

          quantities that they may exceed EOD expertise. Meeting clearance

          deadline of 172100C MAR 91 now in jeapot-dy.



          3. Request additionalEOD support and technical expertise capable

          of assessing destruction potential for, such large magnitude

          munitions. Need this support ASAP. POC is LTC Vincentat 9-7657-

          202/422.
