      SUBJECT: CA REPORT NUMBER 079 AS OF 25200OZ NOV 90.


      1. (U) HIGHLIGHTS: NSTR.
      2. (\) ARCENT:
         a. (\) 96th CA BN.- Assistant S3 attended a NEO meeting at the
      consulate today. The 96th will be requested to assist in executing a
      NEO mission -For the Eastern Province.
         b.   \) XVIII ABC:

              (1)      The 24th met with Criminal Police Chief MAJ Fahd to
      establish bett@er liaison with local law enforcement agencies.

              (2) NK) COSCOM B5 notified of return of 2 ea..45 cal
      weapons and protective mask from Saudi control.

              (3)      The 101st reports that the Ministry of Health in
      Caryat has recently begun to train citizens in first aid, including
      first aid +or chemical casualties.
              (4) Nk A water well in the 101st area that had been
      contaminated by a diesel spill is once again suitable +or use. A
      civilian contractor did the cleanup with the DISCOM verifying the
      water quality.

      3. (U) MARCENTs


              (1)      Assisted XVIII ABN Corps LNO with information on
      obtaining medical status of USA personnel from 635th CE BN injured in
      vehicle accident involving USA and Saudi vehicles in 3/ACR AO in
      which one USA soldier killed. Condition of Saudi(s) involved
      unknown. Injured soldier Medevaced to Jubayl hospital (Saudi).

              (2)      Received information that signs with Red Cross
      showing dir@,t@ to Marine hospital posted on roads are illegal
      without parmis"'cn of the Royal Commission. DET, 3D CAB
      investigating @ce of signs and CA LNO at Military Training
      Mission, King Abdul Aziz Naval Base drafting letter requesting
equent
      investigation determined signs were British, posting directions to
      their hospital.
