      (U) TASK ORGANIZATION: NO CHANGE


      1. @ SITUATION:

           a.       At 280531(C) OCT 90 British soldiers at Rezayat
      Compound reported the escape of an individual seen oh the
      compound water tower. Tested water was allegedly contaminated
      with cyanide.

           b.       IF this report is true and accurate it represents a
      major leap forward in terrorist capability and targeting. It is
      not known if this alleged attack is aimed only at the British or
      if it is aimed at Westerners in general.

      2. (U) MISSION: NO CHANGE


      3. @ EXECUTION:

           a.       Units will ensure water, Army aviation assets,
      munitions stockpiles, and command posts are secure.

           b.       Water points in MSC AOR are the responsibility of
      the respective MSC. 2d BDE will maintain 24 hour watch over
      ROWPU in AA HIIVESVILLE.

           c@       Military Police will check ROWPUG in conjunction
      with MSR security patrols.

      4. (U) SERVICE SUPPORT: NO CHANGE


      5. (U) COMMAND AND SIGNAL:

           a.       Reaction must be cautious. If the initial report is
      true this represents the start of much higher terrorist activity.

           b.       Report all attempts to attack, contaminate, or
      otherwise affect noted targets.
