                  3 CONT     station was telephonically notified by             2145 HRS, 27
                             DRISCOLL (65th MP CO OPNS) of an accident          OCT 90
                             with injuries. Investigation by HELHOWSKI/         MPOO (GIBBONS)
                             ROBINSON revealed that at the above time and       AT 2135 HRS, 27
                             date, VEH #1              was entering the         OCT 90
                             intersection of Dhahran Al Riyahd Rd and Al        503d MP BN S-3
                             Khubar Rd, Dammam while traveling south-           (TOY) AT 2135
                             east in the left lane of a two lane road, on
                             Dhahran Al-Riyahd Rd. VFH #2                   was
                             traveling northeast on Al-Khubar Dammam Rd
                             in the right lane of a two lane road. VEH #2
                                      failed to stop for a red traffic
                             light at the intersection of Al-Khubar
                             Dammam Rd and Dhahran Al-Riyahd Rd which
                             resulted in the right front portion of VEH
                             #2          striking the left front quarter
         After
                             impact, both vehicles traveled west for an
                             unknown distance and came to rest adjacent
                             one another facing west.
                             complained of pain in his lower back and
                             left shoulder          a passenger in VEH #1
                             complained of pain in his right elbow. Both
                             were transported by military ambulance to
                             5th MASH where they were treated by CPT
                             ZUROWSKY for several bruises, and released.
                             VEH #2           received an injury to his
                             right elbow and a slight concussion.

                             laceration to the back of his head.

                             hospital where they were treated by a Saudi
                             doctor for minor bruises, and released.
                                        was also transported to a Saudi
                             hospital where             was admittted for
                             observation due to an injured wrist,
                             laceration to the face, and head injuries.
                             VEH #1              sustained excessive
                             structural damage to the left side and front
                             of the vehicle. VEH #1 was towed from the
                                      a military recovery vehicle. VEH #2
                                      sustained extensive structural
                             damage to the right side and front of the
                             vehicle. VEH #2 was towed from the scene by
                             a civilian towing company. Dammam traffic
the scene and
                             agreed thtm@ewsas 100% at fault. This
                             is a final report.
