ECT: Hepatitis Immunization
Commanders are reminded of the need to monitor the immunization status of
r troops for hepatitis. Maximum length of immunization coverage is six
hs with a five mililiter (ml or cc) dose of gamma globulin. The 2.5 ml
is effective for three months.
The 21st Evacuation Hospital provides this immunization. For individuals,
may be done on a walk-in basis during normal sickcall hours (Mon - Fri,
- 1200). For groups larger than ten persons, please contact CPT Parsons
399-1119 ext 7537 or 895-0602 ext 7537.
Hepatitis is a threat and the need for immunization is real.
