                   (d) Developed a cohesive unit by integrating soldiers
new to 9th Chemical company with the soldiers previously
assigned. These teams were able to merge and work as
independent cells in the execution of their miision.

                 (e) Deployed two teams into Kuwait. Their main mission
was to conduct samples on order. In addition the detachment
sent seven drivers with vehicles into Kuwait to assist F'MIB
in the collection of captured materiels. This secondary
mission was critical to the FMIB operation allowing them th@
needed hauling capacity to accomplish their mission.
                     (f) The evacuation of suspected biological/chemical
samples to' the Theater laboratories progressed smoothi
throughout the operation, culminating in a viable an@
working evacuation process. Several hundred samples were
processed through the laboratories with only minimal false
@ositives. This is in direct reflection of the efforts of
he operators and the CRDEC liaison officers refining the
sam@ling process in order to combat the former high d&gree
            of alse positives.
.(g) Implemented a intelligence chain of reaction
between the o erators and the intelligence sections of
sup orted units. The information provided by the operators
couyd then be further expedited- through- intelligence
channels to further assist ih operational missions.
th(h Due to our late arrival during operation Desert
@torm, e)detachment was required to be employed almost
instantaneously. Within three days of arri;jal-, the first
five teams werit deployed throughout-the AOR .
                (i) communication networks were refined in order to
the amount of logistical resupply efforts and to
aid the teams in the dissemination of CM/BIO information to
            all levels.
