similar events have been happening within SUPCOM. COL Shollyg
SUPCOM Host Nation, recently attended an issues meeting with
Saudi administrators at KKMC, and this matter was on the agenday
          feedback pending.

SUPCOM EVENING BRIEF, 24 MAR 91.

               1. MBS/MII3 Engines. Replacements delayed. Arrival of
CAPE HORN into port delayed due to engine trouble.

               2. Nerve Agent Antidote Injectors Appearing in Dhahran APOE
Amnesty Boxes. Some confusion; apparently some troops were of
the impression that these were controlled substances that they
were not to have on their person, and quantities began appearing
in the APOE amnesty boxes. SUPCOM PMO checked this out and
issued corrective instructions. SUPCOM guidance is that
injectors may be carried back in mask carriers.

          SUPCOM MORNING STAND-UP, 25 MAR 91.

               1. Construction Delay to Wash Racks vic KKMC. Recent rains
have delayed installation of liners for holding ponds. Estimated
completion date for initial site on/about 4 APR.

               2. Saudi Fund Freeze. BO Brown reported a freeze on Saudi
funds for all projects not approved after I NOV 90. Impact to be
studied and briefed at SUPCOM Evening Brief today. Some possible
impacts include: no construction of permanent wash racks and no
"trailer village" passenger holding area at the APOE. More to
          follow.
