           b. How did the enemy react to contac@,@ How did he maneuver? How
J,.d he employ direct and indirect fires? What was the volume of
-artillery? When? WherL,? What friendly units -First made contact?
@-!!-tere were obstacles e.-icountered? What type? What effect did they
i,tvl, on friendly operations? How were the obstacles riegatiated@

Tf7 1-41 IN: There was generally no reaction on contact. On a few
3cc,issions the enemy tried to maneuver to get avoid contact. But
iverall TF observed no attempt to maneuver and destroy friendlies
.and they waved white flags to surrender. For indirect +ire, the TF
only observed two engagements which occurred during the conduct
the TF Iron Recon battle. Mortar rounds hit in the vicinity of
FF FOC. There was not attempt to adjust -Fire and continue the fire
..iiss2.on(s). On IS February one of our AR CO that was moving through
-tie Saudi Berm received a direct hit on one tank. The rounds were
on target and no adjust fire was needed. However, the rounds
impacted vicinity of an artillery registration point. TF generally
-?ricauntered no obstacles they mainly encountered bunkers.

:;-66 AR: Overall the enemy provided little to no resistance to
1: advance. TF encountered no maneuvering enemy, sporadic
,:ieffectivL- direct and indirct fire, and enemy obstacles which were
               a h3.nderance to movement.

'-66 AR: The enemy did not react to contact. Iraqis wanted to
SL;rrender and only during several engagements did the Iraqis want to
@iglit. TF observed two tanks that were turned off ("cold - no
then traversed manually to engage friendly targets.
rF did no observe any Iraqi artillery, but had two possible reports
,-,f artillery rounds impacted in sector were reported. The TF drove
ough most Iraqi obstacles The only major obstacle the TF
Encountered were the defensive trenches and one? tank ditch. None of
'I-.e obstacles hindered the TF movement.

3-- BDE TAC: The enemy ran. He did not used indirect fires. @--66
IF@ ind TF 3-66 made first real contact. Direct fires were
           -@;icountered.

           7. What enemy artillery did your destroy or capture in sector'f How
.,as it arrayed in the defense@

.-F 1-41 'IN: The TF destroyed 5 D-7@O 122mm towed artillery. The TF
3-- did not know how it was arrayed because TF encountered little or
;iL) artillery while moving across the zone. Most o@ the artillery
-i,.L. rF captured was non-operational. The TF did destroy with
L;iL@rmite grenades one 2Sl 122mm SP Artillery in Objective De.-iver
           -irea.
