                     The 221st Ordnance Detachment (EOD) operated from 16 November
               1990 to 22 april 1991 in support of Operation           Desert Storm. Unit
               members Mobilized are:

               zzz=zl4 NOVEMBER 1990 1230hrs, Major Perry McDonald           notified unit
               Commander of an Impending call up. All unit members notified by
               1530hrs.


               zxx*zl5 NOVEMBER 1990       1230hrs, Major McDonald authorizes 221st
               unit Commander to call 10% of unit to active duty. SSG Paul Whiddon
               and SSG Idartin Potrawski were ordered to active duty and to report
               NLT 0800 IS November 1990.


               xxxx*16 *40VEMBER 1990        Mobilization activities commence. Unit
               begins receiving cross-leveled equipment, revising load plan., and
               requesting convoy clearance.

EMBER 1990 Remainder of unit notified to report to Camp
               Blanding with all clothing/OCIE on 20 November 1990. Packing
               begins, vehicles and equipment requiring last minute maintenance
               and adjustment are sent to OMS# 16 and CSMS.

                        NOVEMBER 1990 Remainder of unit arrives at Camp Blanding.
               Load plans and convoy request complete. Entire unit begins packing,
               markln.;.  aiitt                equipment    for  loati,)ut. Vehicles and
               equipment returned from OMS# 16/CSMS, vehicle loadout commences.
               Unit personnel and Mob team begin reviewing 201s, unit receives
               inoculations at Camp Blanding TMC, and unit continues to process
               for movement.

               trzx*21 'qOVEMBER 1990 6nit members given time to complete personal
               affairs and last minute preparations prior to mobilization.
