              2. (U) Operation DESERT SHIELD conducted by USCENTCOM on II/OS/90.
              3. (U) KEYWORDS: REAL WORLD OPERATIONS, DLA, LOGISTICS, SUPPLY,
              NBC, BATTLE DRESS OVERGARMENT.
              4. (U) TITLE-. Logistics: Battle Dress Overgarment Sizing
              5. (U) OBSERVATION: Waist sizing chart on battle dress
              overgrament (BDO) packaging does not accurately indicate the
              garment size actually needed.
              6. (U) DISCUSSION: I+ personnel do not draw correct suit
              sizes, they will not be fitted properly. The BDO was
              consistently larger than its older counterpart, the chemical
              protective overgarment (CPO), even though sizing charts an the
              packaging were essentially the same. The CPO appeared to fit
              according to the sizes printed on its sizing charts, but the BDO
              did not.

              B. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: AMC: Test and republish the sizing
              charts on BDO packaging to accurately reflect the resized
              garments.
