                e. LTC Martin, DG3 reported we would use the old FSOP
           for this operation.

                f. ARCENT Chen faxld a copy of the CDE stockage status. 1:

           5 JAN 91

                a. GI reported Corps personnel numbers for planning.
           Current estimate was 102,303 but could surge to 125,000.

                b. Asked Terrain van for topo and water sources in the
           area. Not yet available but they will get back.

                c. Called Surgeon to find out about anthrax and botulism
           vaccines. No word yet.

                d. MAJ Davis, 2 ACR, requested info on getting a CRDEC
           rep to discuss compatibility of PVS-5/7 and M25 masks, and the
           effects on target acquisition for the M2/3 Bradley gunners.

           6 Jan 90:

                a. Revised CAM distribution plan to G3.

                b. G2 said the FROG may be chem capable but not included in
           the Iraqi doctrine because of its short range.

                C.  SSG Pocaigue, ARCENT, said he was not aware of promised
           CDE stockage but would send us the theater stock objectives.

                d.  MAJ Brame, G4, stated there would be no water for decon
           since the Corps was only capable of hauling the 4 gal/day for
           drinking.

                e. Got info from the British on how they fight in a
           chen environment. They have 3 CPOGs in the unit and 3 more at
           higher HQ to push forward to soldiers. They fight dirty
           with no decon forward and a very limited decon capability at all.

           7 JAN 91:

                a. G3 approved the change to the FSOP to add the threatcons
           and update the unit strike prefixes with the new units.

                b. CPT Hinckley, 7 EN Bde, called and asked what the
           priority was for issuing CPOGs to units who only have I per
           soldier.
