      AND MASS SURRENDERS TO PAN-ARAB FORCES AND HAVE THUS FAR NOT OFFERED
      MAJOR RESISTANCE. NO MOVEMENT HAS BEEN SEEN IN THIS, THE IRAQI IV
      CORPS AREA, TO COUNTERATTACK. IN THE MARCENT AREA, DESPITE HAVING
      FORCES ON THREE SIDES OF THE MARCENT INTRUSION, THE IRAal III CORPS
      HAS BEEN UNABLE TO ORGANIZE OTHER THAN PIECEMEAL COUNTERATTACKS,
      ALTHOUGH HASTY DEFENSES HAVE BEEN ESTABL:SHED ON THE COAST ROAD AND
      SOUTH OF KUWAIT CITY AND Al- JAHRA. COUNTERATTACKS FAILED TO TAKE
      BACK AL JABER AIRFIELD FROM THE MARINES. THE III CORPS MAY ATTEMPT
      COUNTERATTACKS WITH THE 6TH ARMOR, 3RD ARMOR, AND IST MECH DURING
      DAYLIGHT ON 26 FEBRUARY. IN THE EAC AREA, THE !BTH AND BTH INFANTRY
      AND 5TH MECH, DESPITE SUBSTANTIAL. ATTRITION, ARE.STILL OFFERING
      RESISTANCE TO THE EAC ADVANCE.
