              CENTCOM DIRECTED DEMARCATION LINE AND IRAQI MILITARY AND CIVILIAN

              MOVEMENT IN CONTROLLED AREAS, PROVIDES HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE,'

              AND CONTINUES DEVELOPMENT OF RAA'S. CORPS RETAINS THE CAPABILITY

              FORWARD TO CONDUCT OFFENSIVE OPERATIONS. MOVEMENT OF CIVILIANS

              INTO CORPS SECTOR ACROSS THE DEMARCATION LINE REMAINS HIGH.

              REPORTS FROM GROUPS FLEEING BASRA AND AN NASARIYAH INDICATE

              POSSIBLE DELIBERATE ATTACKS ON CIVILIANS AND WORSENING LIVING


              CONDITIONS IN BOTH AREAS. CORPS CONTINUES TO RECEIVE ALLEGED

              REPORTS OF IRAQI MILITARY COMMITTING ATROCITIES AGAINST THE LOCAL

              POPULATION IN THE IOWER EUPHRATES REGIOU, TO INCLUDE USE OF

              CHEMICALS AND MASS EXECUTION OF CIVILIANS-. AERIAL SEARCH AND

              GROUND RECOVERY OPERATIONS OF FRIENDLY EQUIPMENT CONTINUES

              SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH THE IDENTIFICATION AND DESTRUCTION OF ENEMY

              MATERIAL IN VII CORPS SECTOR. UNITS CONTINUE DENIAL OPERATIONS

              IN SECTOR. CORPS HAS DESTROYED 2105 COMBAT VEHICLESI 2458

              TACTICAL VEHICLES, 2828 WEAPONS, 581 BUNKERS, 791 AMMUNITION
