"carte-blanche" for its field ordering officers. A wish list was
drawn up which resulted in 100,000 dollars spent on the local
economy taking in items from small power generators to flyswatters.
On 6 Dec, Rudd left ge=any, it was the last deployment day
          for 2d Squadron.

          ISA
Rudd recalls his local national driver not knowing where to
take him and the rest of the bus. They drove around for 3 hours
until they found it. 2d Squadron arrived to an empty ISA not known
by the rest of the Regiment. Because of their early arrival they

having their second load to be carried on the squadron support
          vehicles.

          COMBAT
American casualties were low. Enemy casualties were high.
This came as a suprise. Rudd has an anecdote dealing with this
which sparks off his frustration at some aspects of the medivac
system. One of the @adron's combat medics had received an enemy
casualty who had both of his legs blown off. The medic was able to
stablilize, and to survive, the EPW would need a blood transfusion
in the rear echelons. The squadron called
