           1. ISSUE: Release of drugs to Senior Medical Aidman, Aidman, and
           Combat Lifesaver Level.


           2. DISCUSSION: Although control of restricted pharmaceuticals is a
           concern at all times, release of some drugs to lower levels is
           acceptable in combat operations.

           3. RECOMMENDATION: Recommej                  ollowing drugs be released to
           the listed level whep conduc'                perations: Atropine
           injections and Dia2rL@                       t lifesavers at all times
           when chemical attack                         e injections, Diazepam, and
           Morptiine to combat m                        rations are expected.
           Recommend that these             issued to  Combat Lifesavers 72-96 hours
           prior to expected op             and to Senior Medical Aidman (NCOS) at
           the same time bullets are issued.
