           SUBJECT: Significant Activities for February


           1. Enclosed are the significant activities, by section for the
           DCSPER for the month of February:

               a. Soldier Support and Services Office
                       (1) AFRC-Bahrain,,=..Successful O-Pzii!ation from 24
           Dii'6ember 1990 to 17 January 1991; continuing on limited basis.
                       (2) Briefing prepared for Command Group for Tier III
           R&R.
                       (3) Continuing work  on Tier I R&R (Development and
           Procurement) of sites.


                       (4) Initiating  the development of "Draft" Field Manual
           for MWR Operationar-'             .,A-
                       (5) Initiation  of Eskan Village MWR 'Pacilities Site
           Plan.

               b. Safety Division
             I    AMP*(l)  Increase emphasis on weapons handling safety.
                       (2) Conduct aviation safety visits to theater FARP

                       (3) Develop and implement Safety Program for EPW sites
           in theater.

                       (4) Provide accident investigation assistance.

                       (5) Continue to develop lessons learned from
           accidents.
                       (6) Provide safety site surveys for helipads in
           theater.

                       (7) Implement Accident Investigation Policy for
           Accident Investigation and reporting during combat operations.
                       (8) Continue to fill vacant safety officer positions
           in theater.
